Industry standards are also only beginning to develop for prototyping tools. Most tools offer only basic animation capabilities and page transitions. When specific and complex interactions need to be tested higher fidelity animation software can be used, or more commonly,  coded prototypes. ​​​​​​​
Invision is the current industry standard for prototyping. It's a web based software that allows users to easily share design prototypes. It integrates with sketch and photoshop. It does not have many animation capabilities, but works well for most purposes. Read more here
ProtoPie is a much newer animation software that has just integrated with Adobe XD. It markets itself as the most robust prototyping tool that doesn't require code. It is excellent for prototyping more detailed interactions. Read more here
